Bounded route compilation, deterministic specificity, normalized URL evidence, feature detection, native comparison, and fallback retention remain separate from navigation, authorization, fetching, and rendering. This is the real published Genesis interface—not a stock image.

URLPattern Route Match Feature Detection & Fallback Guard
Keep route and URL classification available when URLPattern is missing or behaves differently by using a bounded portable matcher with explicit native comparison evidence.
An original zero-dependency browser compatibility guard for URL classification. It compiles at most 100 literal, named-segment, and terminal-wildcard routes; validates optional host and HTTP/HTTPS restrictions; parses URLs through the platform URL API; rejects credentials, unsafe encodings, and malformed patterns; selects deterministic specificity; detects URLPattern capability without constructing a pattern; and retains the portable fallback when an optional native probe disagrees or fails.
It helps find links or pages that lead nowhere so visitors do not get stuck.

- Portable literal, named-segment, and terminal-wildcard matching
- Deterministic static-over-parameter-over-wildcard specificity
- Optional native comparison that retains fallback on mismatch or probe error
What this specific product actually does
Every Genesis listing has its own capabilities, workflow, automation status, limits, and proof standard—without generic promises copied from another product.
Inside URLPattern Route Match Feature Detection & Fallback Guard
- 01Compiles no more than 100 uniquely identified route definitions and rejects partial manifests when any definition is invalid.
- 02Supports exact literal segments, named parameters, one terminal wildcard, optional exact host, and explicit HTTP or HTTPS restrictions.
- 03Normalizes HTTP(S) URLs with the platform URL parser while rejecting embedded credentials, encoded separators, null bytes, and invalid encodings.
- 04Selects the most specific portable match, captures decoded named or wildcard values, and records equal-specificity ambiguity.
- 05Detects URLPattern constructor capability without treating presence as semantic proof and accepts an optional reviewed native comparison adapter.
- 06Returns frozen classification evidence while performing no navigation, redirect, fetch, registration, authorization, rendering, storage, or mutation.
URLPattern-aware classification without a browser compatibility cliff.
The guard provides a deterministic portable classifier and optional comparison evidence; the host owns navigation, authorization, browser integration, monitoring, publishing, and rollback.
This product does not modify a customer website.
Who this is built for
- 01Web applications that need route classification on browsers without URLPattern
- 02React and Floot teams comparing a native routing enhancement with a portable baseline
- 03Link-processing and analytics adapters that need deterministic URL metadata without navigation side effects

Three steps for this product
- 01
Compile the portable contract
Declare only supported literal, named, and terminal-wildcard routes; stop deployment when compilation returns issues.
- 02
Classify through the fallback
Parse each candidate URL with an explicit base when relative, then use successful match metadata without treating it as authorization.
- 03
Compare native behavior separately
Add a browser-tested URLPattern probe only as an enhancement, monitor aggregate mismatches without sensitive URLs, and retain rollback.

What Genesis Code Doctor fixed
- Only verified changes appear here.
- Each repair can show affected files, routes, checks, or rules.
- Regression checks are recorded separately from the repair itself.
Still needs attention
- Unresolved, blocked, unavailable, or not-tested items remain visible.
- Evidence links can explain why an item passed, failed, or needs review.
- Follow-up verification can be run after implementation.
Know the fit, evidence, and handoff before a repair is used.
These controls turn a code product into a traceable repair workflow. They do not claim compatibility or success that has not been verified.
Declared support is available
Declared platforms: All Platforms, Floot, React / Next.js
Exact compatibility still depends on the customer's framework version, dependencies, hosting, custom code, and current site state.
Lifecycle protection is part of the product standard.
- Compatibility is reviewed before release.
- Regression and rollback requirements stay explicit.
- Follow-up verification can be run after implementation.
Genesis keeps the recommendation tied to evidence.
- Confirm the observed problem.
- Check product fit and safety boundary.
- Apply only the authorized repair scope.
- Re-run equivalent checks before calling it fixed.

The handoff includes product identity, declared compatibility, delivery method, capabilities, safety boundary, and the verification sequence.
What this item does not claim
This guard classifies caller-supplied URL text against a deliberately small portable route grammar. It does not navigate, redirect, fetch, register routes, prove browser support, reproduce the full URLPattern grammar, enforce authorization, sanitize rendered content, or certify security.
