Our canonical public domain is genesiscodedoctor.com.
The preferred public origin is https://genesiscodedoctor.com, without the www prefix. Canonical tags and sitemap URLs use this origin for indexable public pages.
It helps consolidate equivalent URL variants into a consistent public search identity. Canonical declarations are search-engine signals; individual search engines may still select a different representative URL based on their own systems.
How Genesis applies the preference.
Public indexable pages should use self-referencing canonical URLs on the preferred host. Sitemap entries use the same preferred host. Private, account-specific, tokenized, or intentionally non-indexed pages are not promoted as canonical public destinations.
Where hosting controls permit it, alternate host variants should redirect to the preferred host while preserving the path and query behavior that is safe and intended for the public page.
