Root, nested, dynamic, catch-all, escaped-period, extension, case, and bound checks stay separate from file writes, router behavior, and publication. This is the real published Genesis interface—not a stock image.

Floot Route Filename Convention Validator
Validate Floot root, nested, dynamic, catch-all, and escaped-period page filenames and derive the expected public route before relying on a page.
An original dependency-free FlootRoute filename validator for Floot authoring and build tooling. It accepts page item names or main pages/*.tsx source names, maps periods to nested route segments, maps $name to dynamic parameters, recognizes a final $ catch-all, resolves [.] as a literal period, enforces lowercase kebab-case literals and lower camelCase parameter names, rejects auxiliary files and folder paths, applies configurable hard bounds, and returns immutable segment evidence plus explicit issue codes.
It helps find links or pages that lead nowhere so visitors do not get stuck.

- Root, nested, dynamic, catch-all, and escaped-period path derivation
- Explicit malformed filename and auxiliary-file rejection
- Bounded immutable results without project or router mutation
What this specific product actually does
Every Genesis listing has its own capabilities, workflow, automation status, limits, and proof standard—without generic promises copied from another product.
Inside Floot Route Filename Convention Validator
- 01Maps _index, literal segments, period-delimited nesting, $name parameters, final $ catch-all segments, and [.] literal periods to expected public route templates.
- 02Accepts a page item name or pages/*.tsx main source form while rejecting module stylesheets, page layouts, prefetch companions, wrong source extensions, and nested folders.
- 03Enforces lowercase kebab-case literal segments, lower camelCase dynamic names, unique parameters, non-empty segments, and a final-only catch-all.
- 04Returns the canonical main page filename, expected public path, segment evidence, ordered parameter names, catch-all state, and stable issues.
- 05Bounds filename length, route segment count, and retained issue count; unknown options and invalid limits fail loudly.
- 06Returns deeply frozen derived output and performs no I/O, network access, project inspection, routing, file edits, or publication.
FlootRoute filename evidence without editing or publishing pages.
The validator derives a route template from one supplied filename only; the host owns file operations, links, routing behavior, preview, publication, production verification, and rollback.
This product does not modify a customer website.
Who this is built for
- 01Floot builders reviewing a proposed page filename before a supported create or rename operation
- 02Teams generating route plans that need an explicit FlootRoute filename-to-public-path contract
- 03CI and authoring checks that must remain separate from project mutation and production verification

Three steps for this product
- 01
Validate the proposed main page name
Pass one page item name or pages/*.tsx filename and stop on any returned issue.
- 02
Perform the authorized project change
Use Floot's supported editor workflow with current-version protection, then update links, redirects, sitemap, and canonical metadata intentionally.
- 03
Test, publish, and verify
Run host tests and typecheck, preview the exact route, use Update/Publish, and verify the live path on every attached domain with rollback ready.
Before & After Repair Report
Floot Route Filename Convention Validator · GCD-FLOOT-296
Report format preview. Scores and status values populate only from measurements produced by an actual run. Genesis does not invent improvements.
What Genesis Code Doctor fixed
- Only verified changes appear here.
- Each repair can show affected files, routes, checks, or rules.
- Regression checks are recorded separately from the repair itself.
Still needs attention
- Unresolved, blocked, unavailable, or not-tested items remain visible.
- Evidence links can explain why an item passed, failed, or needs review.
- Follow-up verification can be run after implementation.
Know the fit, evidence, and handoff before a repair is used.
These controls turn a code product into a traceable repair workflow. They do not claim compatibility or success that has not been verified.
Declared support is available
Declared platforms: All Platforms, Floot
Exact compatibility still depends on the customer's framework version, dependencies, hosting, custom code, and current site state.
Lifecycle protection is part of the product standard.
- Compatibility is reviewed before release.
- Regression and rollback requirements stay explicit.
- Follow-up verification can be run after implementation.
Genesis keeps the recommendation tied to evidence.
- Confirm the observed problem.
- Check product fit and safety boundary.
- Apply only the authorized repair scope.
- Re-run equivalent checks before calling it fixed.

What this item does not claim
This package validates supplied filename strings only. It does not inspect a project, discover existing pages, create or rename files, rewrite imports, configure React Router, authorize a page, verify links, load a preview, manage redirects or canonical tags, publish an app, or prove a production route works. The host must use Floot's supported editing workflow, concurrency protection, project tests, preview, publication, and production verification.
