Date-only, local-time, local-date-time, known IANA zones, explicit unknown-zone reasons, source provenance, stable restore, and immutable evidence remain separate from instant derivation, schedule verification, and persistence. This is the real published Genesis interface—not a stock image.

Journey Local-Date & Time-Zone Serialization Codec
Serialize journey date-only, local-time, and local-date-time evidence with explicit IANA or unknown-zone state without silently reinterpreting local values through the executing device time zone.
An original zero-dependency serialization boundary for travel journeys. It validates real Gregorian dates, minute- or second-precision local clocks, date-only semantics, known IANA identifiers, explicit unknown-zone reasons, source observation provenance, bounded source references, schema-version restore, and deterministic stable JSON; then returns deeply frozen records with explicit non-effect evidence.
Serialize journey date-only, local-time, and local-date-time evidence with explicit IANA or unknown-zone state without silently reinterpreting local values through the executing device time zone.

Read license termsWhat it helps you do
- Separate date-only, local-time, and local-date-time semantics
- Explicit known, unknown, and not-applicable zone states without guessing
- Deterministic schema-version JSON restore with frozen records and non-effect evidence
What this specific product actually does
Every Genesis listing has its own capabilities, workflow, automation status, limits, and proof standard—without generic promises copied from another product.
Inside Journey Local-Date & Time-Zone Serialization Codec
- 01Validates real Gregorian YYYY-MM-DD values without using the runtime's local time zone.
- 02Accepts HH:mm or HH:mm:ss local clock values, normalizes seconds, and preserves the caller's original precision.
- 03Requires a runtime-recognized IANA identifier for known zones or a bounded reason for unknown zones; date-only values use an explicit not-applicable state.
- 04Requires a source observation timestamp with Z or a numeric offset and supports a bounded non-sensitive source reference.
- 05Produces deterministic schema-version-1 JSON, a stable local key, and a restore path that revalidates the record.
- 06Returns deeply frozen success or value-free failure evidence while deriving no instant, offset, daylight-saving decision, schedule fact, or persisted effect.
Journey local-time serialization without hidden device-zone conversion.
The codec validates and serializes supplied local temporal evidence only; the host owns source authorization, freshness, instant derivation, rendering, persistence, publishing, monitoring, incident response, and rollback.
This product does not modify a customer website.
Who this is built for
- 01Travel applications preserving itinerary dates and local clocks across saved and shared journeys
- 02Floot and React teams separating local temporal serialization from explicit instant-conversion adapters
- 03Provider integrations that must keep unknown time-zone state reviewable instead of guessing from a destination or device

Three steps for this product
- 01
Map authorized temporal evidence
Classify each field as date-only, local-time, or local-date-time and provide an authorized IANA zone or an explicit unknown-zone reason plus source observation provenance.
- 02
Serialize without conversion
Stop on issues, store the normalized schema-version record, keep unknown-zone warnings visible, and never parse the local value through Date as though it were an instant.
- 03
Stage, publish, and verify
Test provider fixtures, date-line and daylight-saving cases, rendering, storage, and any separate instant adapter; use Floot Update/Publish, verify production, and retain rollback.
Before & After Repair Report

Report format preview. Scores and status values populate only from measurements produced by an actual run. Genesis does not invent improvements.
What Genesis Code Doctor fixed
- Only verified changes appear here.
- Each repair can show affected files, routes, checks, or rules.
- Regression checks are recorded separately from the repair itself.
Still needs attention
- Unresolved, blocked, unavailable, or not-tested items remain visible.
- Evidence links can explain why an item passed, failed, or needs review.
- Follow-up verification can be run after implementation.
Know the fit, evidence, and handoff before a repair is used.
These controls turn a code product into a traceable repair workflow. They do not claim compatibility or success that has not been verified.
Declared support is available
Declared platforms: All Platforms, Floot, React / Next.js
Exact compatibility still depends on the customer's framework version, dependencies, hosting, custom code, and current site state.
Lifecycle protection is part of the product standard.
- Compatibility is reviewed before release.
- Regression and rollback requirements stay explicit.
- Follow-up verification can be run after implementation.
Genesis keeps the recommendation tied to evidence.
- Confirm the observed problem.
- Check product fit and safety boundary.
- Apply only the authorized repair scope.
- Re-run equivalent checks before calling it fixed.

What this item does not claim
This codec does not fetch provider data, derive an instant from a local value, read the device time zone, calculate a UTC offset, resolve daylight-saving gaps or folds, verify a schedule, confirm a booking or connection, render locale text, persist, notify, or publish. The host owns authorized source data, freshness, date-line and daylight-saving context, instant derivation, rendering, storage, monitoring, incident response, and rollback.
