Count, bytes, names, extension, declared MIME, retry, progress, receipt, confirmation, failure, cancellation, and explicit server-owned controls remain reviewable without reading or uploading a file. This is the real published Genesis interface—not a stock image.

Floot File Upload Guard
Validate supplied browser file metadata and coordinate explicit ready, uploading, confirming, confirmed, failed, cancelled, expired, and retry states without uploading, reading, or declaring a file safe.
An original zero-dependency file-selection preflight and upload-lifecycle guard for Floot, React, Next.js, and browser JavaScript. It validates bounded file count, individual and aggregate bytes, filenames, extensions, declared MIME types, empty files, duplicate normalized names, and last-modified metadata; returns frozen value-minimized findings; coordinates monotonic progress, attempt ceilings, upload receipts, post-upload confirmation, safe failures, cancellation, expiry, and reset; and builds a preservation-first integration plan.
If another service stops responding, it helps the app fail clearly and retry safely instead of appearing frozen.

Read license termsWhat it helps you do
- Count, individual and aggregate bytes, filename, extension, declared-MIME, empty-file, duplicate-name, and timestamp findings
- Monotonic progress, bounded attempts, upload receipt, post-upload confirmation, failure, cancellation, expiry, and reset states
- Preserve-first installation, explicit server revalidation boundary, recovery, rollback, and deploy guidance
What this specific product actually does
Every Genesis listing has its own capabilities, workflow, automation status, limits, and proof standard—without generic promises copied from another product.
Inside Floot File Upload Guard
- 01Normalizes an explicit bounded upload policy and reports invalid configuration without silently widening limits.
- 02Evaluates metadata-shaped selections for count, byte, filename, extension, declared MIME, empty-file, duplicate-name, and last-modified findings without reading content.
- 03Keeps browser-supplied names, sizes, extensions, MIME types, and accept-style policy explicitly untrusted and returns four stable host limitations.
- 04Coordinates immutable ready, uploading, confirming, confirmed, failed, cancelled, expired, reset, and capped-retry transitions with monotonic progress.
- 05Requires a bounded upload receipt before confirmation and a separate confirmation identity before the lifecycle can claim confirmed success.
- 06Returns deeply frozen reports, safe public failure codes, TypeScript declarations, and a non-mutating preservation-first integration plan.
Upload preflight and lifecycle with a preserve-first boundary.
The package evaluates supplied metadata and lifecycle events only; the host owns file truth, server security, transfer, storage, user experience, production verification, monitoring, and rollback.
This product does not modify a customer website.
Who this is built for
- 01Floot and React forms that need explicit metadata preflight before an existing upload
- 02Next.js and browser applications separating upload transfer from post-upload confirmation
- 03Teams reviewing AI-generated upload flows that confuse client checks with server security

Three steps for this product
- 01
Checkpoint and define the host policy
Record the exact source and deploy revision, preserve the current endpoint and storage contracts, then define only justified count, byte, name, extension, declared-MIME, and retry limits.
- 02
Integrate at one owned boundary
Add preflight and lifecycle mapping to the existing selection handler without changing design, routes, auth, APIs, storage, or unrelated forms; stop on a preservation conflict.
- 03
Repeat server checks and publish separately
Run package, server authorization and validation, scanning, storage, accessibility, mobile, regression, production-smoke, monitoring, and rollback checks before deployment.
Before & After Repair Report
Floot File Upload Guard · GCD-FLOOT-051
Report format preview. Scores and status values populate only from measurements produced by an actual run. Genesis does not invent improvements.
What Genesis Code Doctor fixed
- Only verified changes appear here.
- Each repair can show affected files, routes, checks, or rules.
- Regression checks are recorded separately from the repair itself.
Still needs attention
- Unresolved, blocked, unavailable, or not-tested items remain visible.
- Evidence links can explain why an item passed, failed, or needs review.
- Follow-up verification can be run after implementation.
Know the fit, evidence, and handoff before a repair is used.
These controls turn a code product into a traceable repair workflow. They do not claim compatibility or success that has not been verified.
Declared support is available
Declared platforms: All Platforms, Floot, HTML / CSS, React / Next.js
Exact compatibility still depends on the customer's framework version, dependencies, hosting, custom code, and current site state.
Lifecycle protection is part of the product standard.
- Compatibility is reviewed before release.
- Regression and rollback requirements stay explicit.
- Follow-up verification can be run after implementation.
Genesis keeps the recommendation tied to evidence.
- Confirm the observed problem.
- Check product fit and safety boundary.
- Apply only the authorized repair scope.
- Re-run equivalent checks before calling it fixed.

The handoff includes product identity, declared compatibility, delivery method, capabilities, safety boundary, and the verification sequence.
What this item does not claim
This package evaluates caller-supplied file metadata and lifecycle events only. It does not read file bytes, inspect content signatures, trust MIME or extensions as proof, upload data, call an endpoint, authenticate or authorize users, prevent CSRF, scan malware, decompress archives, allocate storage, enforce server quotas, clean stored files, render UI, certify security or accessibility, or prove production correctness. The host must repeat authorization and validation on the server and owns content inspection, scanning, storage, privacy, accessibility, monitoring, deployment, and rollback.
